Last minute information posted here.

9/6  Practice and qualifying: The final instructions from BARC are not 100% clear. To clarify, all practice and qualifying of all drivers (by doing 3 laps each in the 'night' period, as by the Clerk Of  The Course), will be completed on Friday evening. The grid positions will be taken from the fastest lap set by each car in the whole practice session.

On Saturday morning, there is a 40 minute 'un-timed' session. This is for 'installation' laps, but may also be used to qualify drivers who may not have been able to go out in the Friday evening session. This should be done with agreement of the CoC.

9/6  TV Connectors: Updated 16/6 The MST managed timing system feeds to a socket in each garage. You can take along a standard TV. If possible, get someone to make up a cable with an 'F-type' (centre pin but not standard co-ax) connector. If not, you can often jam the bared wires into the socket.

9/6 'SMALL' Race Numbers: You will have seen in the regs that you should put 'small' race numbers in the rearmost nearside window (so the timekeepers can read your number over the pit wall as you leave the pit lane), on the boot lid (to meet MSA regs) and on your scrutineered fuel can, for easy identification by pit lane marshals. Phil Myatt and Paul Robertson have kindly offered to produce these numbers for EVERY car. They will be in white. They will bring them to Snetterton and you can collect them from the Tete Rouge garage. Ask for Sammie Fritchley.

10/6 Transponder Hire: MST will be bringing a good supply of transponders to Snet for hire. The cost for the full weekend, from Friday to Sunday, is £50

12/6  EVENT T-Shirts: There will be two 'official' 2004 event T-shirts on sale. One design has been produced by our event partner, 'Gate-A-Mation', and the other by the 2CV Racing Club. Both should be on sale in the Press Centre, price about £6. There will also be a few of the 2003 Auto Trader T-shirts for sale. Team Dolly may also be selling very stylish 2CV T-shirts from their pit garage.

14/6  SATURDAY SCHEDULE REVISION: The planned Caterham race will not now take place. This means that a slightly revised schedule will show in the programme. This will be adjusted again by CoC Bulletin to allow a one hour slot for the Fast Laps during a mid-day marshals break.

Note - the free 5.30 to 7.30 testing session is operated for us by MSV. That is why it is not shown on the BARC schedule. They take over the circuit aaround 8pm in time for the daylight and night practice and qualifying from 8.30 to 10.30.

15/6  Drivers Wanted For WILLHIRE:  Our good friends at Arriva Willhire (www.arrivarental.co.uk) have kindly agreed to loan us two of their shiny people carriers so the hard working marshals can be moved between post and paddock R&R in comfort.  They have to be collected in the middle of Friday afternoon, from Barton Mills, not far down the road from Snet.

We need three volunteers, all of whom must have their road licences with them and be over 25, one to drive the other two down there and then all to travel back to Snet. No return required - Willhire will collect them Monday morning.

15/6  TOTAL Fuel:  Snet say that they are putting 10,000+ lts of finest Total Super Un-Leaded 97 RON into their tanks, which should be enough for us.
Christine has pointed out that standard is 95 and Optimax is 98.5.
